Location
Tulips bloom best in sunny places. Also surrounded by deciduous trees and shrubs, as they usually bloom before these plants fully develop their leaves. Tall and medium varieties work well in garden beds. Low varieties should also be planted in rock gardens and in containers
Soil
As for soil conditions, light and fertile soils are best for this plant. An important factor is the permeability of the substrate.
Planting:
Tulip bulbs are planted in autumn (September to November) so that they have time to grow roots. Tulips should be planted at a depth of about 12 cm. After planting, water abundantly.
Care Feed
them until flowering with compound fertilizers. It is important that the soil is not too dry. We provide tulips with water until the leaves begin to dry out. Watering is very important, because it is the bulbs that regenerate after flowering and collect adequate supplies to be able to bloom just as beautifully next year.
Storage
Tulips should be dug up after the leaves have dried, which is usually at the turn of June and July. Dry, then clean and store in baskets in a dry and well-ventilated place. Tulips can remain in the garden without digging up for several years.
