These are seeds collected from many plants in our large collection of Streptocarpus.

Seeds were produced by hand-pollination from the best of our own seed-grown plants using pollen from other seed-grown plants and from various named cultivars.

Plants raised from these seeds will have flowers in a great variety of colours and colour combinations with various markings. No two plants will be the same. Expect to be surprised and delighted.

Seeds can be shipped safely at any time of year. We have tested seeds after storing them outdoors in colder than -20C weather, and they germinated just fine.

Plants can be grown indoors in indirect natural light, or in artificial light supplemented with indirect natural light. Plants can also be grown outdoors in shade, in frost-free weather.

Seeds are tiny. Handle carefully. Packets contain more than the stated number (often many more).

Seeds are tested. Given proper conditions, at least 93% will germinate. Germination begins in around 15 days.
