Beautiful and delicate, like a Snowdrop but much taller and later flowering, known as the summer snowflake

. Leucojum Aestivum have strap-shaped dark green grassy foliage.

Each umbel bears up to 8 nodding bell-shaped crisp white flowers marked with a green tip.

Growing to 55cm they are an impressive sight planted in drifts where left undisturbed they will naturalise well and can be used as cut flowers.
