Kniphofia ’Flamenco’ 30 Seeds

Mix seeds with a damp paper towel or moistened vermiculite, place them in a sealed plastic bag, and store them in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 weeks before sowing. 

Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before your last expected spring frost date.

Fill seed trays with a well-draining, gritty seed starting mix. Sow seeds 1/8 inch (3mm) deep. They need just a very light dusting of soil over them; do not bury them deeply.

Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Place the trays on a heat mat to maintain a temperature of 70°F to 75°F (21°C to 24°C).

Germination can be irregular and slow. Expect sprouts to appear within 14 to 28 days.
