Sunny and semi-shaded positions will be ideal for Chionodoxa . They also bloom in the shade.

They feel best on light, permeable soil.

Bulbs should be planted in autumn (from September to November) and spring (from April to May) quite close to each other (spacing 5–10 cm) at a depth of about 6–8 cm.

In winter, the beds should be covered with a layer of mulch - it can be bark, leaves or straw. In spring, make sure that the plant has constantly moist soil. We make sure that the place around the plant is weeded.

After flowering, the bulbs can be left in the same place for several years, or we dig them up at the end of July and store them until next season in a dry cool place.
